Anaheim will be a new challenge. Another heavy 1-2 punch of centers to play against and a Dcore that is as solid as they come.

Gonna be interesting. Obviously the Ducks want to match up Kesler vs McD, but wonder if trying to go strength vs strength might be a good call for the Oil.

Getz vs McD. Have to think that the speed factor greatly favors the Oil.

I don't know much about the Ducks bottom 6 but I have to think that with the way the Oil bottom 6 are playing that there may be an advantage for the Oil in there?

they kinda been moving parts around and have recently had perry with Ritchie and Vermette I think on their 3rd. Looked really good.
But assuming perry gets moved up, our bottom 6 is better imo.

Gibson is as good as talbot. Yeah, he's that good.

They're muuccch deeper on the backend. Without one of fowler or vatanen we match up abit better.


We're fuked without a healthy klefbom. He was brilliant in that series. So good


I dunno what the best strategy to employ is. But nuge was effective against joes, and with his geyzlaf on fire, might wanna try the same.

Can we beat them? Yes.
But they're the favs. Especially if their defenders are healthy

I think it makes more sense for them to keep their lines as they were when they were going hot.

Rakell- Getzlaf- Eaves (Vs Nuge)
Cogliano- Kesler- Silfverberg (Vs McDavid)
Ritchie- Vermette- Perry (Vs Kassian)
Shaw- Thompson- Wagner (Vs 4th)

Keeping Maroon on that 3rd line with Kassian could help in trying to keep Perry off his game. That having been said, add a healthy D corps and I don't know how we'll manage to matchup against them.

Fowler- Vatanen (Vs Nuge)
Theodore- Bieksa (Vs others)

I was more trying to say that I personally wouldn't try and go hard at wanting to force a matchup of Nuge vs Getzlaf. MCD+Drai+Maroon/Cag vs Getz+Perry+?? is still a good match for the Oil.

Let the Ducks be the on paper faves. The Sharks were to many also.

Momentums a funny thing, anything could happen ond one team could grab it and roll .
But yeah, on paper, Anaheim is a brutally tough matchup. And there will no easy victory. Much Tougher than the sharks imo [/img]
